• THE GREAT MIDWESTERN ITE CHALLENGE CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Once again in 2010, the Midwestern District’s ITE student chapters will square off in The Great Midwestern-ITE Challenge. This competition of brains is an event similar to the College Bowl or the TV game show, Jeopardy, but with a transportation and traffic engineering flavor of clues and responses. The event will be held during the District’s Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota from June 27 to 29, 2010. Please click here for more details.

• ITE TO SPONSOR TRAFFIC SAFETY MERIT BADGE AT THE 2010 BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA NATIONAL JAMBOREE

The Boy Scouts of America will be holding its National Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill, Fredericksburg, Virginia USA from July 26-August 4, 2010.  This event will be attended by over 32,000 highly motivated Scouts, most aged 13-17. One of the many activity centers available to Scouts is the “Merit Badge Midway”, where there are booths where boys can accomplish all or part of many of the 120 merit badges offered by BSA.
