2011 District Annual Meeting in conjunction with MOVITE Spring Meeting - June 26 to 28 in Dubuque, Iowa

The 2010 District Annual Meeting was held in Minneapolis from June 27-29 at The Depot Hotel, Bob Green and the local arrangements committee from the North Central Section did an outstanding job. Over 180 professionals and students attended the many technical sessions, exhibits, student poster sessions, traffic bowl, and luncheons. ITE Vice Presidential candidates Rock Miller and Troy Peoples traveled from the Western District ITE meeting to visit and speak with the members in attendance. The event was capped off with a trip to the new Target Field to watch the Twins take on the Detroit Tigers. The group was even circled by Bert during the game!

THE GREAT MIDWESTERN ITE CHALLENGE CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Once again in 2010, the Midwestern District’s ITE student chapters will square off in The Great Midwestern-ITE Challenge. This competition of brains is an event similar to the College Bowl or the TV game show, Jeopardy, but with a transportation and traffic engineering flavor of clues and responses. The event will be held during the District’s Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota from June 27 to 29, 2010. Please click here for more details.
